Carla M. Moynihan appointed Chair of Sherin and Lodgen’s Women’s Initiative

Carla M. Moynihan, partner in Sherin and Lodgen’s Real Estate Department, has been appointed Chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative, effective May 2017. Moynihan succeeds Debra Squires-Lee, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and co-chair of the Business Litigation and Professional Liability Practice Groups.

Sherin and Lodgen is committed to the advancement and success of our women attorneys and professionals. The mission of our Women’s Initiative is to provide an internal network of support that fosters growth and achievement while connecting and learning with outside organizations that directly support women and women’s causes.

Moynihan focuses her practice on the disposition, acquisition, leasing, development, and financing of commercial real estate. For over 20 years, she has represented institutions, developers, retailers, individual investors, hospitals, medical professionals, hotels, state agencies, municipalities, and lenders in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. As Chair of the Women’s Initiative, Moynihan will oversee the development and execution of in-house training programs, roundtable discussions and one-on-one mentoring sessions and partnerships with community organizations.
