Sherin and Lodgen Adds New Associate to Its Growing Employment Law Practice

January 3, 2017

Sherin and Lodgen LLP is pleased to announce the addition of David I. Brody as an associate in the firm’s Employment Law Group and Litigation Department. He represents clients in a wide range of matters, including wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, and contract negotiation and enforcement. Brody has represented clients in both federal and state courts in Massachusetts and in Public Hearings before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and the Civil Service Commission.

Brody’s experience will further strengthen the firm’s Employment Law Group, which earlier this year welcomed the distinguished legal team of Nancy S. Shilepsky and Brian J. MacDonough, who are well known for executive advocacy, employment law and litigation.

Sherin and Lodgen Managing Partner Douglas M. Henry said, “We continue to bolster our Employment Law Group to meet the evolving needs of our clients in this area. We look forward to having David work closely with Nancy, Brian and the team on complex matters involving employment and executive compensation.”

Brody said, “Sherin and Lodgen has an active and respected Employment Law Group. I am excited to join such a talented group of lawyers that brings such dedication to every client matter.”

Prior to joining the firm, Brody worked at an employment law firm in Boston, where he counseled individuals on employment issues and employment litigation. As a graduate of Suffolk University Law School, Brody received multiple awards for oral advocacy, including winning region one of the National Moot Court Competition in 2009. Brody is a member of the Boston Bar Association, and was listed as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
