We support our associates with various mentoring, professional development, and marketing programs. Our firm offers associates a quality of life that is difficult to achieve in larger firms, yet the matters in which associates are engaged are substantive and complex.
The firm offers a compensation package for associates competitive with mid-size Boston firms and a generous benefits package competitive with most law firms in the city. We offer comprehensive family medical and dental insurance, life insurance, disability and long-term care insurance plans as well as a paid parental leave policy, a 401(k) plan, an employee assistance plan, health club membership contributions and recruitment reward programs.

I started my law firm career at Sherin and Lodgen after clerking in 2007. As a new associate, the firm provided me with encouragement and support to learn and gain hands-on experience. I was also exposed to a wide variety of cases and never limited to one practice area. Over the years, the firm has continued to enrich my professional growth by expanding my responsibilities and leadership roles, by supporting educational and training opportunities, and by helping me advance my business objectives. I have also received invaluable mentorship from highly experienced partners who truly have invested in my growth. Finally, and most importantly, Sherin and Lodgen is a nice place to come to work every day. The attorneys and staff value family, respect and congeniality, both within the firm and within the broader practice of law and community.
