Two acquisitions for mixed-use development

- Sherin and Lodgen has served as lead counsel to Skanska USA Commercial Development in connection with two acquisitions in the Seaport Square district located in South Boston.
- In December of 2012, Skanska closed on the acquisition of Block L-1, comprised of approximately 41,000 square feet of land to be developed as an approximate 455,000 square foot mixed use development provided for office and retail space.
- In early November, 2013, Skanska closed upon the acquisition of Block L-2, comprised of approximately 41,984 square feet of land upon which a 425,000 square foot development is contemplated.
- The contemplated development includes a retail component, a commercial office component and a garage component.
