Once complete, the development, located in Boston\u2019s Allston neighborhood, will include 117,000 square feet of retail, residences, 350,000 square feet of office and lab\/life science space, and a one-acre community green. The joint-venture development is Ahold Delhaize\u2019s largest single real estate development transaction in the U.S. to date.<\/p>\n<p>The project is a joint venture between Stop &amp; Shop, New England Development as Master Developer, Bozzuto, and Southside Investment Partners.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nedevelopment.com\/news\/press-releases\/finalization-financing-and-commencement-construction-announced-allston-yards\">According to Allston Yards\u2019 press release,<\/a>\u00a0construction is set to begin this month on Building A, and will include 165 residential units and a new flagship Stop &amp; Shop grocery store on the project\u2019s Parcel A. Construction of a commercial office\/life science building on Parcel B is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The Sherin and Lodgen team, led by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sherin.com\/attorneys\/caroline-woodward\/\">Caroline Woodward<\/a>, represented Stop &amp; Shop throughout the transaction, negotiating with multiple equity investment partners and navigating complex development phases.
