Sara Jane Shanahan, partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, moderated a panel entitled “Social Media Policies and Practice Your Company Can ‘Like’” at the New England Legal Foundation’s Fall Breakfast Program. C. Forbes Sargent, partner in the firm’s Corporate Department, was a member of the panel. The discussion was held October 26^th at the Boston College Club. Topics addressed included issues to consider when creating a social media policy, training your workforce on your policy, potential privacy issues, and recent National Labor Relations Board rulings on social media usage by employees.
