Partner John B. Shinn presents on Hamilton College program, “Sports Law Spotlight”

Partner John B. Shinn presented the program, “Sports Law Spotlight,” to students at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, on September 24. John led a Q&A session, discussing the intersection of sports and law, his legal practice, and how his experience as a Hamilton College alumnus has impacted his career.

John is a partner in the firm’s Business Law Department, and focuses his corporate practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, equity financing, private offerings, intellectual property and governmental licensing. His experience provides a significant benefit to clients when drafting and reviewing asset and stock purchases, buy-sell agreements, private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) financing documents, private placement memorandums, master service agreements and other general business contracts. John’s clients span across a wide range of industries including sports & entertainment, SaaS, hospitality and consumer goods.
