Brian J. MacDonough named “Employment Law Trailblazer” by The National Law Journal

By Sherin and Lodgen on July 14, 2021

Brian J. MacDonough, chair of the firm’s Employment Department, has been named to The National Law Journal’s (NLJ) third annual list of “Employment Law Trailblazers.” The list recognizes the top employment lawyers across the nation who have moved the needle in the legal industry, making them true trailblazers in their practice area. Brian and fellow honorees were featured in a special supplement of the July/August issue of NLJ, which is available online here.

Brian counsels and represents executives and professionals in sophisticated employment and compensation matters and employment litigation. This includes contract negotiation and enforcement, discrimination, whistleblowing, wage and hour issues, and wrongful termination matters. In particular, he advises executives and professionals regarding employment agreements, change of control agreements, equity and deferred compensation vehicles, non-competition and other restrictive covenants, severance/separation terms, and transition agreements.

NLJ reports legal information of national importance to attorneys, including federal circuit court decisions, verdicts, practitioners’ columns, coverage of legislative issues and legal news for the business and private sectors. The Trailblazer series is a special supplement developed by the business arm of NLJ.
