Brian J. MacDonough presents at MCLE webinar on preventing and litigating wage and hour cases

Brian J. MacDonough, chair of the firm’s Employment Department, presented at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) webinar, “Preventing & Litigating Wage & Hour Cases,” on Tuesday, June 7, 2021. During the program, Brian and fellow panelists discussed the statutory framework and common compliance issues under Massachusetts and Federal wage and hour laws, recent developments and case law, and best practices and litigation strategies from both the employee and employer perspective.

Brian is a partner and chair of the firm’s Employment Department. He handles a wide range of employment matters, including contract negotiation and enforcement, discrimination, whistleblowing, wage and hour issues, and wrongful termination. MacDonough advises executives and professionals regarding employment agreements, change of control agreements, equity and deferred compensation vehicles, non-competition and other restrictive covenants, severance/separation terms, and transition agreements. He is a frequent author and speaker on matters of employment law, and is an editor and co-author of the Massachusetts Employment Law Manual, published by the MCLE.
