David I. Brody presents at MBA webinar on remote mediations and arbitrations

David I. Brody, partner in the firm’s Employment Department, presented at the Massachusetts Bar Associations (MBA) CLE webinar, “Challenges, Benefits and Tips for Remote Mediations or Arbitrations in Labor and Employment Disputes,” held via Zoom on March 10, 2021. The program addressed the new reality of online dispute resolution. David and fellow panelists discussed the pros and cons of online dispute resolution in labor and employment matters, including the role of ADR in addressing COVID-related employment issues— compensation questions, reasonable accommodations on-premises and remote workplaces, and vaccination policies— as well as the realities of mandatory arbitration, with and without class-action waivers.
