Edward M. Bloom quoted in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly on SJC ruling on conflicting foreclosure notice and loan provision

Edward M. Bloom, partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, was quoted in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (MLW) on December 3, 2020. The article, “Foreclosure notice that conflicts with loan provision not defective,” details a recent Supreme Judicial Court (SJC) decision in which a foreclosure notice that directly tracked state notice requirements, but did not reference a provision in the borrowers’ loan imposing a shorter window for them to reinstate their mortgage, was deemed not defective.
