Jennifer Ioli Connelly and Zachary D. Drench present on the MCLE program, “Negotiating & Drafting Office & Retail Leases”
Real Estate partners Jennifer Ioli Connelly and Zachary D. Drench presented on the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program, “Negotiating & Drafting Office & Retail Leases,” on June 24. Jen, Chair of the program, alongside Zack and fellow faculty, discussed office and retail leasing transactions, highlighting their key similarities and differences. The panel also addressed the increasing frequency of and unique considerations inherent in mixed-use centers featuring co-existing residential and/or recreational uses.
Jen, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department and Renewable Energy Practice Group, represents retailers, developers, and institutions on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. She also advises institutional investors, industrial companies, and other types of commercial property owners on solar leasing matters for rooftop, ground mounted, and canopy facilities.
Zack is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, representing commercial real estate development and operating companies on acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, and development matters. He has experience negotiating retail, restaurant, office, and industrial leases on behalf of landlords and tenants. Additionally, his practice involves advising clients on land use and environmental compliance and liability issues.
The program will be rebroadcast on Thursday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m. and Friday, July 17 at 9:00 a.m.
