Nancy S. Shilepsky presents at the 2024-2025 Access to Justice Fellows Program Commencement
Nancy S. Shilepsky, partner in the firm’s Employment Department, attended and presented at the Access to Justice (A2J) Fellows Program Commencement on June 9. Nancy served as a 2024-2025 A2J Fellow, and volunteered with GLAD Answers, the “know your legal rights” program of GLBTQ Legal Advocates and Defenders (GLAD Law). She has committed to serving as an A2J Fellow for a second year, continuing her work with GLAD Law.
Together, Nancy and Mary Bonauto, the Senior Director of Civil Rights and Legal Strategies of GLAD Law, gave a presentation on the mission of the organization and the specific work Nancy has completed since she began in September 2024.
Since 2012, the Access to Justice Fellows Program, a project of the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission and Lawyers Clearinghouse, has enabled senior lawyers and retired judges to partner with organizations to increase equal justice for all. By matching senior lawyers with groups that need their help, the A2J Fellows Program allows these lawyers to use their specialized skills and expert experience to do engaging pro bono work and remain active members of the legal community.
