Partner Ronald W. Ruth joins REBA’s Dispute Resolution Panel of Neutrals

Partner Ronald W. Ruth has joined the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts’ (REBA) Dispute Resolution Panel of Neutrals.

As a panel member, Ron will facilitate mediation for REBA’s clients in the areas of real estate, land use, environmental and Brownfield construction law disputes, and construction on contaminated properties. Additionally, Ron will serve as a part-time volunteer mediator at the Land Court under the auspices of the Lawyers Clearinghouse Access to Justice Fellows Program.

A partner in Sherin’s Real Estate Department, Ron concentrates his practice on real estate, land use, and environmental law. He has represented owners and tenants in connection with numerous sites that have been successfully redeveloped from abandoned manufacturing or industrial operations into commercial developments. He is particularly familiar with the complicated problems arising from the construction of projects undertaken on contaminated properties. His mediation practice is focused on real estate matters as well as hazardous materials and brownfield development matters. He became a LEED Accredited Professional in July 2008. Ron is the former firm Managing Partner and former Chair of the Real Estate Department.
