Peter Friedenberg presents at BBA webinar on land use permitting process

Peter Friedenberg, partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, presented at the Boston Bar Association (BBA) webinar, “Land Use Permitting Process,” on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. During the program, Peter discussed how to navigate the complex land use permitting process and the different approaches to take depending on the type of litigation. The lecture, geared particularly for new and more junior attorneys, included advice on how to apply to and present before local boards, in and outside of Boston, and how to be persuasive while avoiding possible litigation traps.

Peter maintains a national real estate practice focusing on complex transactions involving the acquisition, development, ground leasing, land use permitting, financing, leasing, and disposition of properties, as well as facilities operation and management matters. His clients include public agencies and authorities, developers, educational institutions, nonprofit entities, and operating companies. Peter became a LEED Accredited Professional in September 2008.
