Partner Brian J. MacDonough presents on MCLE program, “Update on Reverse Discrimination Claims”
Partner Brian J. MacDonough presented on the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program, “Update on Reverse Discrimination Claims,” on January 15. In the session, “The EEOC’s Guidance Addressing DEI and Reverse Discrimination,” Brian addressed key updates and shed light on the implications of several EEOC decisions from the past year regarding reverse discrimination claims.
As chair of the Employment Department, Brian handles a wide range of complex employment matters, advising executives and professionals regarding terms of employment, equity and deferred compensation, non-competition and other restrictive covenants, and terms of separation and transition. He has particular expertise in cross-border matters and is a trusted advisor to his global executive clients. In addition to his executive advocacy practice, Brian also litigates cases in both federal and state courts and appears regularly before state and federal agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He is a former co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Section.
The program will be rebroadcast on Friday, January 30 at 9:00 a.m, and Monday, February 9 at 3:00 p.m.
