Three Sherin and Lodgen attorneys recognized as Leading Employment Lawyers in 2026 Doyle’s Guide

Three Sherin and Lodgen attorneys have been selected as “Leading Employment Lawyers (Employee Representation)” for the Boston market in the 2026 edition of Doyle’s Guide.  Brian J. Brian is Chair of Sherin’s Employment Department. He handles a wide range of complex employment matters, advising executives and professionals regarding terms of employment, equity and deferred compensation, non-competition and other restrictive covenants, and terms of separation and transition. He has particular expertise in cross-border matters and is a trusted advisor to his global executive clients. In addition to his executive advocacy practice, Brian also litigates cases in both federal and state courts and appears regularly before state and federal agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He is a former co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Law Section.

Nancy is known as a leading influence in the world of executive advocacy, employment law and employment litigation. As an executive advocacy pioneer, she is a champion of the interests of individuals and a trusted counselor to executives and professionals across a wide range of industries. She is also known for her pioneering work in wrongful termination and discrimination cases. Her work includes a high-profile sexual harassment case involving the impact of the First Amendment on workplace speech restrictions and a landmark case dealing with the eradication of race-based discrimination in compensation. Nancy is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), as well as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyer.

David represents individuals in a wide range of matters, including contract negotiation and enforcement, wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblowing. He is an experienced employment litigator, having represented individuals at trial in state and federal court, and in public hearings before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the Civil Service Commission. In addition to his litigation practice, David advises executives and professionals regarding employment agreements, non-competition and other restrictive covenants, change of control agreements, equity and deferred compensation vehicles, and transition agreements. David is the immediate past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, an affinity organization of attorneys committed to advancing employee rights.
