Overview & Experience

Kaila D. Clark is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department.

She represents clients in complex civil and business disputes in state and federal court. Kaila has experience at all stages of litigation, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery papers, preparing witnesses for deposition, and managing large-scale discovery. Prior to joining Sherin and Lodgen, Kaila served as a judicial law clerk on both the Connecticut Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She draws on these clerkship experiences to help clients navigate the nuances of state and federal court practice and procedure effectively. Kaila also practiced as a complex commercial litigation associate at an AmLaw 200 firm.

Kaila received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, a Master of Arts in Adolescent Special Education from Hunter College, a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany (SUNY), and a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from The Pennsylvania State University. Her interdisciplinary background informs her thoughtful, client-focused approach to resolving high-stakes disputes.
