Congratulations to our client, Agilitas Energy, on the acquisition of a 12.5-MW solar project in North Smithfield, Rhode Island

Sherin and Lodgen congratulates its client, Agilitas Energy, on the acquisition of a 12.5 megawatt (MW) solar project in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. Construction is scheduled to commence in 2025, with anticipated operation by the end of 2026.

This project will generate 16,000 megawatt-hours of clean electricity annually, powering more than 2,500 homes in Rhode Island, and will be a part of Rhode Island’s Net Metering Credit (NMC) program.

The S&L team, led by Renewable Energy Practice Group Chair Beth A. Goldstein, acted as transactional counsel on the project acquisition.
