Sherin and Lodgen LLP announces that it was ranked for Labor & Employment: Mainly Plaintiffs Representation in the 2022 edition of Chambers USA. Brian J. MacDonough, chair of the firm’s Employment Law Department, and Nancy S. Shilepsky, partner in the department, were also recognized as notable practitioners in the rankings.

Chambers recognized the department for its work representing employees before both state and federal courts and for its expertise in discrimination, whistleblowing, wage and hour issues, and wrongful terminations. The guide notes that the firm is well-versed in the representation of high-level professionals working in sectors such as education and healthcare.

A longtime Chambers honoree, Nancy was ranked in Band 1. She was noted for advising senior professionals on various employment matters, including non-contentious compensation and severance issues, as well as on disputes. One client commented, “Nancy is highly respected in the Boston legal community for her expertise and practical approach.”

Brian was ranked in Band 2. Chambers recognized him advising management-level employees on a range of matters, with regular work on wrongful termination and breach of contract claims, among other issues. A client commented, “He is great to work with and knows his stuff.”

According to its website, Chambers and Partners, UK-based publisher of annual guides in several global markets, selects attorneys and practice areas for inclusion based on thousands of interviews with practicing lawyers and clients around the world.
