Sherin and Lodgen’s Employment Law Department recognized by Chambers USA 2021 for Labor & Employment: Mainly Plaintiffs Representation

Sherin and Lodgen was ranked for Labor & Employment: Mainly Plaintiffs Representation in the 2021 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for BusinessBrian J. MacDonough, chair of the firm’s Employment Law Department, and Nancy S. Shilepsky, partner in the department, were also recognized as notable practitioners in the rankings.

Chambers recognized the department for its work representing employees before both state and federal courts and for its expertise in discrimination, whistleblowing, wage and hour issues, and wrongful terminations. The guide notes that the firm is well-versed in the representation of high-level professionals working in sectors such as education and healthcare.

A longtime Chambers honoree, Nancy was ranked in Band 1. She was noted for advising senior professionals on various employment matters, including non-contentious compensation and severance issues, as well as on disputes. One client commented, “She is truly a pioneer in terms of developing labor and employment law on the plaintiff side, particularly employment discrimination.”

Brian was ranked in Band 2. Chambers recognized him advising management-level employees on a range of matters, with regular work on wrongful termination and breach of contract claims, among other issues.
