Carla M. Moynihan and Ariana L. Mirzakashani co-present the MCLE program, “Drafting & Negotiating Commercial Subleases”
Carla M. Moynihan and Ariana L. Mirzakashani co-presented the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program, “Drafting & Negotiating Commercial Subleases,” on February 24. Carla and Ariana discussed the basics of subleases, including the interests and perspectives that landlords and tenants bring to each of them during negotiation and after the lease is signed.
Carla, Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, has over 30 years of transactional experience advising clients in all aspects of their acquisition, disposition, leasing, permitting, construction, and financing projects. Her clients include owners, institutions, developers, retailers, individual investors, hotels, state agencies, municipalities, and lenders. She represents these clients in single asset and portfolio transactions for office, lab, retail, hotel, multi-family, or industrial uses, advising on purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, financings (CRE and CMBS), development agreements, and design/construction contracts.
Ariana represents purchasers, sellers, and lenders in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing matters, and operations of commercial real estate properties. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, and assists clients with all aspects of their leasing, acquisition, disposition, and financing needs.
The program will be rebroadcast on Wednesday, March 11 at 9:00 a.m. and Thursday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m.
