Jonathan F.X. O’Brien presents at BBA Friday Fundamentals Series on risks posed by representing clients who might be included on a sanctions list
Jonathan F.X. O’Brien, partner in the firm’s Business Law and Real Estate departments, presented at the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) recent Friday Fundamentals Series on Dec. 10, 2021. The session, “Friday Fundamentals Series: KYC: Know Your Client,” covered risks posed by representing clients who might be included on a sanctions list or similar list published by the Office of Foreign Asset Control. Jon and fellow members of the BBA’s International Law Section provided background on the issues and how to deal with them.
