Sherin and Lodgen sponsors BARCC’s Virtual Champions for Change: Community Celebration

September 29, 2020

Sherin and Lodgen sponsored the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center’s (BARCC) Virtual Champions for Change: Community Celebration, which took place on September 24, 2020. This year’s event recognized Toyin Ajayi, MD, MPhil, for her advocacy for BARCC and her commitment to survivors and the services to support them in their healing journeys, especially recognizing her work to address health disparities in systems of care, and featured a discussion between Toyin, Resilient Sisterhood Project Founder and Executive Director Lilly Marcelin, and BARCC Executive Director Gina Scaramella and a live Q&A moderated by BARCC Board Member Duane de Four.

Robert M. Carney, chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, was honored in 2017 as BARCC’s Champion for Change for more than a decade of support and service as an ally to survivors.
