Sherin and Lodgen continues firm growth with addition of three new associates
Sherin and Lodgen LLP continues to strengthen its bench of talent with the addition of three associates across several of the firm’s core practice areas. Kaila D. Clark joins the firm’s Litigation Department, Vaughn D. Gendron joins the Business Law Department, and Nghia D. Trinh joins the Real Estate Department. The additions reflect Sherin and Lodgen’s continued growth and investment in talent as the firm expands its capabilities to meet increasing client needs across its litigation, transactional, and real estate practices.
Kaila represents clients in complex civil and business disputes in state and federal court. Her experience spans all stages of litigation, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery papers, preparing witnesses for deposition, and managing large-scale discovery. Prior to joining Sherin and Lodgen, she served as a judicial law clerk on both the Connecticut Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She also practiced as a complex commercial litigation associate at an AmLaw 200 firm. Kaila received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, a Master of Arts in Adolescent Special Education from Hunter College, a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany (SUNY), and a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from The Pennsylvania State University.
Vaughn experience includes representing businesses in a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and structuring, corporate governance, and the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements. During law school, he served as a legal intern with Universal Music Group, where he handled corporate matters within the music and entertainment industry, including drafting and reviewing licensing agreements and recording contracts. Prior to joining Sherin and Lodgen, he worked as a Corporate Associate at a full-service Massachusetts law firm. Vaughn earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, and his B.S. in Marketing from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.
Nghia works with retailers, developers, landlords, and tenants in all aspects of commercial real estate. His experience includes drafting, reviewing, analyzing and negotiating due diligence materials, commercial real estate agreements and related transaction documents. Prior to joining Sherin and Lodgen, he worked at American Tower as a Tower Asset Protection Program attorney and Legal Shared Services attorney where he drafted and negotiated complex commercial real estate agreements in the telecommunications industry. Before that, he served as staff attorney for the Asian Outreach Project at Community Legal Aid in Worcester, Massachusetts. Nghia received his J.D. with concentrations in Environmental and Energy law from Northeastern University School of Law, and his B.A. from Brandeis University with concentrations in biology, philosophy, and legal studies.
