Transactional Associate

Opportunity to join a thriving practice area led by an up and coming industry leader.

Sherin and Lodgen LLP is seeking a mid-level transactional associate to join our Real Estate Department’s growing Hospitality Practice Group.  Candidates must have no less than three years of legal practice experience working in commercial real estate or real estate-oriented corporate work.  Candidates with legal or business experience in the hospitality industry are preferred.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.  Primary responsibilities will include negotiating and drafting management agreements, franchise agreements, purchase and sale agreements, leases and joint venture agreements. Floater Legal Secretary

Sherin and Lodgen LLP has an immediate opening for a motivated Floater Secretary. This position provides secretarial support and special project assistance to attorneys and senior paralegals in the firm’s Real Estate, Litigation, Business Law, and Employment departments. This position provides exposure to a variety of practice areas and insight into law firm operations and legal documents, including commercial leases, corporate minute books, transactional closing documents, various business agreements, and litigation pleadings.

The ideal candidate is a college graduate with one to two years of experience in a professional office (relevant internships included). Applicants must have excellent communication skills, be very organized and detail oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
